Hi, I'm Emily!

My journey into therapy began with music. As a child, I found comfort in playing the piano and singing. Before becoming a therapist, music was my way of processing the world. This passion led me to earn a vocal music degree from Belmont University, but over time, I felt drawn to something deeper. I wanted to not only express emotion through music but to help others process and heal their own emotions.

That path led me to pursue a master’s degree in Mental Health Clinical Counseling, where I learned how to combine emotional expression with structured tools for healing.

Outside of my practice, I love traveling and exploring new natural settings—there’s something about being in nature that feels restorative. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being with my dog, and taking my e-bike around town and discovering local spots is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
